Recently the boys found a large grasshopper which they appropriately named Hoppy (maybe mom came up with that). I think it came from Grandma's house. But when I got home from a business trip there was Hoppy in a jar with holes punched in the lid. They had put a bunch of leaves in with Hoppy which he was supposed to eat but he didn't seem to keen on to be honest.
Of course, the kids wanted to "keep him", but we had to explain that Hoppy wanted to go home to his bug house with his bug family and friends. So we had to let him go. The kids were sad about this but the understood.
So we took Hoppy and his bug bottle up to a likely bunch of rose bushes in front of Los Robles Hospital
